The video you just watched listed the top 5 tech lies that we tell ourselves. Please blog about the following:
Pick 1 of the top 5 tech lies, and explain (in at least 2-3 sentences) whether you agree or disagree that with the lie, and why or why not. Please include the lie in your explanation.
Don't forget to write in complete sentences, with correct spelling and grammar.
I agree with the tech lie: "Selfies are ok" because in the end, they're just simple pictures. It shouldn't matter if you take a picture of yourself with a group of friends or yourself in general, that's just what you like to do I guess.
ReplyDelete"You don't have to check your phone when it buzzes" Uh actually yes you do because what if it's important and you need to check it. What if it's a family emergency then you have to check your phone. So therefore I disagree with that.

DeleteYou don't need to check your phone all the time. I disagree because sometimes it might be an emergency. What if your mom died and you needed to go to the hospital so you need to check your phone.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with when it said that its not okay to keep using your password for your every account. Because that's what i do cause if i change my password then i'll forget my password for everything, and I had my password for so long that ill forget it to quick and i'll forget that i changed it.

Delete"You don't have to check your phone when it buzzes", I don't think you have to check your phone every time it buzzes, because most of the time it's unnecessary things. So I disagree wit it.
ReplyDeleteWatch spelling
DeleteI disagree that its not tempting to check your phone it might be something important. Also it could be an emergency. So I check my phone every time it buzzes and if its not important then i don't worry about it but it doesn't hurt to check.

DeleteThe lie I chose to write about is "Pictures and information on Facebook is not necessarily private just because the settings say it is." I disagree with this statement and I think that when you post picture and information privately that they will remain private. I believe the Facebook settings are reliable.
